The original, larger, and more rustic cabin has an open concept main room - including a living, dining, and kitchen area - and a loft. The main level has two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. The open loft area (including a platform bed in the SW corner of the loft) has additional sleeping for five, as well as an enclosed dormer room that sleeps two more.
There is a large wrap-around deck where you can take in the view of Lake Michigan (about 75' away) while grilling up dinner. Between the cabin and the lake is a firepit with log-stump seating, and a picnic table. The lakefront has a smooth and shallow bedrock beach perfect for wading. Bring water shoes! Use the Lodge's canoe to paddle around nearby bird sanctuary, Hog Island.
This cabin is dog-friendly, so your pet can enjoy the Island with you!
